The Triune God

    The Triune God is the three in-one –God.  The Bible helps us to know that God exists in three distinct Persons.  Each person performs different functions.  Yet, they work together as one. They also work in unity for a purpose.

 This Lesson want to teach us that there is one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three work hand- in- hand in order to accomplish a common goal. The main purpose of their ministry is to bring humanity back Home (Heaven). For human beings have fallen, then somebody has to rescue them. That is why God sent His Son to die for you and me.  Holy Spirit also is not left out in this mission. He has been ordered to help us at any time we need Him. All is to make heaven.

  Let us now look at the life application of this Lesson so that you will know where you belong in your Church. It is just a practical application in which I want you to view yourselves.

  We have one family in the Church. Every Church member belongs to this family. The Church’s aim and objective is to make heaven.  For instance, if Mr. A is preaching the gospel, then Mr. B must be able to teach the Lesson.  The two are working together for the kingdom of God.

   The Church member is composed of the choir Member, the Deacons and Deaconess, the Elders and others. Others may include Youth member, Adventurers, Women and Men Groups and so on.

  The Choir usually sings melodious song that will glorify God.  The duty of Deacons and Deaconesses are numerous among of which I will mention here.

     They are Church workers.

     They usually clean both inside the Church and its environment.

     They always visit any Church member who absent from the church services.

      Moreover, they are responsible for the collection of the Tithes and Offerings during worship.  

   

 Meanwhile, Elders assignment is special. Especially where there is no pastor around, the First Elder of that particular Church usually assumes pastor’s duty.

Now, I need to bring you back to the Lesson so that you will not be carried away.  So I am going to stop there in order to concentrate on the Lesson proper.

   

The unity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit now helps us to understand the individual roles on our journey to heaven.  Ask yourself whether you are on fire for God. Can God depend on you? Please if no, make necessary amendment today.
