How the Lost Laptop was Found by Prayer and Faith

   The type of prayer that can move mountain is the one coupled with faith. The faith is the evidence of tangible things that exist beyond human knowledge. When you pray the prayer of faith, then something wonderful will happen.

  Please the testimony you are about to read requires one thing before you proceed. Just whisper a silent prayer that God should let this testimony has good impact in your life.

  In order to understand this testimony, there is need to break the article into sub-section in which everybody that read it must gain something. You have to read this testimony if you are among those that does not believe in prayer. Also if you are the type that has lost your faith in God due to past experience, then this article is meant for you.

 Friends, let’s go into the story so that I will not take much of your time.

    The Church’s Prayer for the Family

   Starting from the beginning of this year, many programs have been incorporated into the Church service. One of which is title “the Family Prayer”. The family prayer is the program that was introduced by the Sabbath School Team this year 2012. The roaster was created for this program. Every family in the church is included.

 It is done in this way. The church would prayer for a family through-out a week. On the Sabbath, the day of worship, the family would be requiring to present a program. After the program, an Elder of the Church would pray for the family.

   The prayer for my family fell in between 12^th to 18^th of February 2012. The Church did pray for us for I later confirmed this fact! Then on the 18^th of February, 2012 which was Saturday, the day of worship, my family presented a program. Elder Akintunde was asked to pray for my family. The Head of Sabbath School Superintendent, Mrs Adebua, said that the Church should not stop praying for the family until they share testimony.

The stolen of Laptop

 The following week, precisely on Monday 21^st of February,2012, ‘an unknown person’ broke my door and stole my Laptop. It was just unusual for such an act in my house. The place we had been living the past 2 years and no record of theft at all!

 

  So I uttered one statement immediately I discovered that my Laptop was stolen. Let me tell you something before I proceed. As you are reading this testimony, confess what (good things) you want to happen to you now. Then mean what you have said. That is, you have to strongly believe those affirmations within you. Please you need to develop your Faith!! Be optimistic in all your thinking. Let it be your habit from now on.

  I told myself that my Laptop was not lost. I did not know when I said this out to my wife. “ we are going to see this Laptop.”  You know women now, in such a situation one has to be very fast by assuring them positive.

  The incident was discovered on our arrival from office this fateful day at 5pm. My wife entered the room before I did. She asked if I had earlier been there before her and I said no. We later saw the broken door to my room. The clothes were scattered in the room. On getting to where the Laptop was, it was found missing. I informed the neighbor about the incident. They were surprised because a woman in front of our house said that she has just left home since morning. She left home at 3:00pm. We came back from office at 4:45pm.

   Another observation was that if any strange person comes to our street, dogs will bark to alert the people around. So everybody in the street was aware that the person is within us. 

  I went to a day fasting and prayer for God to intervene. To God be the glory! On the 29th February, 2012 the mother of the person that stole my laptop called me and confessed that my laptop was found. Amen.
